Ex Line - Hazardous Areas

Suitable for applications in the petrochemical, chemical, pharmaceutical, grain and cereal, textile fibers, powder coating, polymer, and other industrial sectors where explosive atmospheres may be present.

The correct motor specification must consider the area classification, the group of flammable gases or vapors or combustible dusts, the required maximum surface temperature, as well as the power output, speed, number of poles, voltage, frequency, and mounting configuration required for the application.

Ex eb IIC T3 Gb IP65: Increased safety for Zone 1 applications. Safety for areas with a probable risk under normal operating conditions.
Ex ec IIC T3 Gc IP65: Increased safety (non-sparking) for Zone 2 applications. Operational reliability for areas where risk is unlikely or of short duration.

Combustible Dusts

Ex tb IIIC T100 °C Db IP65: Protection by enclosure for Zone 21 applications. Enhanced protection for environments with occasional presence of explosive dust.
Ex tc IIIC T100 °C Dc IP65: Protection by enclosure for Zone 22 applications. Safety and compliance for environments with rare and short-duration presence of explosive dust.
